All products must show an understanding of:

Audience, institution, representation and media languages (codes and conventions)

Initial Research:

+ Carry out textual analysis of similar existing products to identify codes and conventions. Decide which of these you will use, which you will ignore/subvert.

+ Consider issues of representation - Who/what is being represented and in what way? Why?

My task is to make a promotional music video for a new original music act. The act can be a group or solo artist and the track I choose can be any genre, although ballads are not recommended. the purpose of the video is to launch the act and should reflect their style, genre and target audience.
